meet our beader Rikkii

Say Hello to Rikkii. During one of the workshops at The Loris Variety Beading Studio this summer, Rikkii made a necklace and bracelet set. She created her own pattern of glass chips and coin beads on a bead board and then strung her final design on wire. Rikkii happily returned to Loris middle school this fall where she participates with friends in dance lessons.

New Design

This basic weaving design looks great and can be mastered quickly. The seed beads snaking around larger (5-7mm) beads creates visual interest and the fringe acts as a focal point. This pattern can be adapted for a variety of materials. Our new crackle glass beads would be a sparkly choice.
